Before starting the refrigerator
Check the following before you start to
use your refrigerator:
1. Attach 2 plastic spacers as
illustrated below. The spacers are
intended to keep the proper
distance between your refrigerator
and the wall to ensure optimum air
circulation. (The picture is provided
as a representation and is not
meant to be identical with your
product.)
2. Clean the interior of the appliance
as recommended in the
“Maintenance and cleaning”
section.
3. Connect the plug of the appliance to
the wall socket. When the
refrigerator door is opened, the
internal light will turn on.
4. When the compressor starts to
operate, a sound will be heard. The
liquid and gases sealed within the
refrigeration system may also give
rise to noise, even if the compressor
is not running. This is normal.
5. The front edges of the refrigerator
may feel warm. This is normal.
These areas are designed to be
warm to avoid condensation.

Warning
Improper use of the grounded plug
can result in the risk of electrical
shock. If the power cord is damaged,
have it replaced by an authorized
service center.
This appliance should be properly
grounded for your safety. The
power cord is equipped with a
three-pin plug that mates with
standard three-prong wall outlets to
minimize the possibility of electrical
shock.
Do not under any circumstances cut
or remove the third ground prong
from the power cord supplied.
This refrigerator requires a standard
115Volts AC~ 60Hz electrical outlet
with three-prong grounded
receptacle. Use a 15-amp fuse.
To prevent accidental injury, the
cord should be secured behind the
appliance and not left exposed or
dangling.
Never unplug the refrigerator by
pulling the power cord. Always
grip the plug firmly and pull straight
out from the receptacle.
Do not use an extension cord with
this appliance. If the power cord is
too short, have a qualified
electrician or service technician
install an outlet near the appliance.
