Boil Dry Protection:
Your kettle will switch off automatically if you try to use it with too little water or
if it is empty.
If this happens, ensure the ON/OFF switch is in the OFF position, remove it
from the base unit and allow it to cool down before re-lling.
Wait at least 15 minutes for the cut-out to reset before relling with cold water
and boiling.
CAUTION! DO NOT switch the kettle on unless it contains at least one cup of
water to avoid damaging the appliance and shortening its lifespan.
Filter:
Your kettle is tted with a lter. The lter helps to prevent lime-scale from
getting into your drink.
The lter should be cleaned regularly, in particular if there are noticeable
deposits left on it, or if pouring is affected in anyway.
To clean the lter, remove it from the kettle and rinse it under the tap. You can
also drop the lter in when de-scaling your kettle.
Rinse the lter thoroughly before tting it back into the kettle.
