Unlike builders cold chisels,
which are designed to be
used on brick and stone,
these engineers chisels and
punches are made of chrome
vanadium steel for prolonged
use on metal. The head is separately
hardened to avoid excessive
‘mushrooming’, although this is a necessary feature
to avoid chipping.
