INDICATOR LIGHT FOR NORMAL OPERATION

A green light indicates normal operation of refrigerator.
If a malfunction occurs, the normal operation indicator light will go off and one of the
malfunction diagnosis codes (FF, PF, CI, dE) will start flashing in one of the 5
malfunction diagnosis code display windows.

If a malfunction occurs, the electronic monitor will automatically detect and diagnose,
and the appropriate malfunction diagnosis code green light will flash. (The first 6
blinkings will be accompanied by a beeping, warning sound.)
If more than one malfunction occurs simultaneously, the malfunction indicator code
for the most serious malfunction will flash. When this light goes off, the next most
serious malfunction indicator code will start flashing.
The malfunction diagnosis codes are as follows:
“FF” FREEZER MALFUNCTION
“PF” POWER SOURCE MALFUNCTION
“CI” ICEMAKER MALFUNCTION
“dE” DEFROSTER MALFUNCTION

This unique GE custom dispenser feature allows ice cubes and crushed ice to be
dispensed without opening the door.
When the appropriate key for ice cubes, crushed ice, or cold water is lightly pushed,
the selected sign will be lighted with a green light, accompanied by a beeping sound.
When the button switch (pad) is pushed with a glass, the selected ice cubes, crushed
ice, or cold water will be automatically dispensed.
SYSTEM CHECK/RESET KEY

By pushing this key, all 4 malfunctions can be checked in the order of seriousness.
If this key is pushed while one of the malfunction codes is flashing, the malfunction
code will disappear and the system will automatically check for other malfunctions.
(Flashing of the second malfunction indication code will also be accompanied by 6
beeping, warning sounds, as mentioned above.)
If no other malfunction is found, the system will continue checking until key is reset.
