Tips for using the oven
Preheating Only preheat the oven if specified in your recipe or in
the table in the instructions for use.
Dark baking tins Use dark, black lacquered or enamelled baking tins.
These absorb the heat particularly well.
More than one cake If you are baking several cakes, it is best to bake
them one after another as the oven will still be hot.
This reduces the baking time for the second cake.
You can also put in two cake tins next to each other
in the main oven.
Using the residual heat For casseroles and slow cooking, you can turn off the
oven 10 minutes before the end of the cooking time
and use the residual heat to finish cooking.
Closing the oven door Always keep the oven door closed when the oven is
in use. If you need to open the oven door, only open
it briefly. Otherwise the temperature drops and the
oven has to heat up again.
