Cleaning the paper feed roller
If the paper is not fed correctly, clean the paper feed roller.

Open the pa per cassette cover.

Rotate the paper feed roller in the
feed direction until it stops.

Attach a piece of Scotch tape to
the paper rubber feed roller.

Remove the Scotch tape carefully,
and turn the paper feed roller 3-4 mm/0.1-0.2" in the
opposite direction of the feed direction.
Any dirt on the paper feed roller is removed with the tape.

Repeat steps 3 and 4 until the paper feed roller is
clean.
