On models with a fabric softener
dispenser:
Pour a measured amount of liquid fabric
softener into dispenser; always follow
manufacturer’s directions for the correct
amount of fabric softener based on your
load size. Dilute liquid fabric softener by
lling the dispenser with warm water until
liquid reaches the underside of the rim. See
“Max Fill” line arrows.
IMPORTANT: You must set the Water Level
knob to Auto Sensing + Extra Rinse with
Fabric Softener, or Deep Water Wash +
Extra Rinse with Fabric Softener to ensure
proper distribution of the fabric softener
during the nal rinse portion of the cycle.
On models without a fabric softener dispenser:
You will add fabric softener manually during the nal rinse
portion of the cycle. See step 10 for complete instructions.

Chlorine Bleach
4. Add liquid chlorine bleach
to dispenser, if desired
Do not overll, dilute, or use more than 1 cup (236 mL) of liquid
chlorine bleach. Do not use color-safe bleach or Oxi products in
the same cycle with liquid chlorine bleach.
Load garments in loose heaps evenly
around the basket wall. For best results,
do not pack the load tightly. Do not wrap
large items such as sheets around the
agitator; load them in loose piles around
the sides of the basket. Try mixing
different-sized items to reduce tangling.
IMPORTANT: Do not tightly pack or force
items into washer. Items need to move freely
for best cleaning and to reduce wrinkling and tangling.

6. Select WATER LEVEL
Set the Water Level knob to an Auto Sensing setting and
the washer will ll to a level that ensures the load engages
the agitator. From this point, the electronic control will sense
the load and determine if additional water is needed.
Select a
water level with an extra rinse for enhanced rinsing performance.
Set the Water Level knob to a Deep Water Wash setting and the
washer will ll to the maximum water level. Select a water level
with an extra rinse for enhanced rinsing performance.
