GE - General Electric GFDR485EF0RR Questions and Answers

#1 Is it possible to remove the "right height" pedestal?

The RightHeight™ Design with a 7" built-in pedestal allows
you easier access to your laundry without the added
expense of buying separate pedestals for your washer and
dryer. The added height puts your clothes within easy
reach, plus you can use the top of the washer as a folding
surface. The factory-installed pedestal is part of the
design and cannot be removed for use without it. This can
affect installation of the washer and dryer: These models
cannot be stacked. They can be installed under-counter,
side-by-side, and built-in. The pedestal is not designed for
storage. Dryer models will not be able to exhaust through
the bottom. Electric models can exhaust to the left, right,
and rear; Gas models to the left and rear. I hope this helps!
