Water drainage
The suds are drained through a drain
pump with a 3.2ft (1m) delivery head.
For the water to drain freely, the hose
must be installed free of kinks.
If required, the hose can be extended to
a length of up to 16.4ft (5m). Acces-
sories are available from your Miele
dealer or the Miele Technical Service.
Drainage options:
1. Directly into a sink: Lay the hose
around the edge of the sink and se-
cure the drain hose so that it does
not slip (e.g., by securing the drain
hose to the faucet).
2. In a standpipe: Insert the drain hose
into standpipe with dimensions of
1½“ (Ø 4cm). Secure the drain hose
carefully to make sure it cannot slip.
3. In a floor drain: The washing machine
is designed with a gap (anti-siphon
system) which means that a mini-
mum drain height is not required.
