Neff KI2823F30G Questions and Answers

#1 Hi What is the difference between this and a Fridge Freezer? How does the freezer section differ from a 70/30 style Fridge Freezer?

We would advise that the freezer compartment in this models is smaller than a 70/30 split. This is designed for only having one door, whereas a 70/30 split would require 2 doors.

#2 How can I stop water condensing in the fridge compartment? this is a problem. Water drips from the freezer compartment, which has been over icing in the last few months.

Its quite normal to have condensation on the back of the fridge, water dripping from the freezer shouldnt be happening and we would advise you book an engineer with regards to this.

This can be done online via https://www.neff-home.com/uk/service/repair-service

#3 NEFF - KI2823F30G - Built-in fridge with freezer section : condensation issues - does my unit lack ventilation top and bottom and what is the gold and white rubber seal which came with to where is that for? Getting lots of frost and water.

Condensation may form in the vegetable container depending on the food and quantity stored. Remove condensation with a dry cloth and adjust air humidity in the vegetable container with the humidity controller.

While the refrigerating unit is running, condensation droplets or frost form on the rear panel. This is due to functional reasons. It is not necessary to wipe off the condensation droplets or frost. The rear panel defrosts automatically. The condensation drains off into the condensation channel.

The condensation runs from the condensation channel to the evaporation pan where it evaporates. Keep the condensation channel and drainage hole clean so that the condensation can drain. Regularly clean the condensation channel and drainage hole with a cotton bud or similar implement to ensure that the condensation can drain.
