Q: (is gas stove) With no one near it and stovetop not being used, the oven would start hissing like there was gas going into the oven. Pushing control knob further right turned it off. I was still using oven with no other problems. Then oven appeared to be turning itself on. We saw the glow from the ignitor at this point. Sometimes pushing knob to the right would shut it down sometimes it stayed on for a minute or so.Now I can't turn the oven on at all. The stovetop still works fine.The stove is maybe 6 to 8 years old? Reply
