TEMPERATUREIndicatorlight*:toidentifythecoldestareain
therefrigerator.
1. Check that OK appears clearly on the indicator light (see
diagram).
2. Iftheword“OK”doesnotappearitmeansthatthetemperature
istoohigh:setalowertemperatureandwaitapproximately10
hoursuntilthetemperaturehasbeenstabilised.
3. Checktheindicatorlightagain:ifnecessary,readjustitfollowing
theinitialprocess.Iflargequantitiesoffoodhavebeenadded
oriftherefrigerator door has been opened frequently, it is
normalfortheindicatornottoshowOK.Waitatleast10hours
beforeadjustingtheREFRIGERATOROPERATIONknobtoa
highersetting.
Using the freezer to its full potential
• UsetheFREEZEROPERATIONbuttontoadjustthetemperature
(seeDescription).
• Donotre-freezefoodthatisdefrostingorthathasalreadybeen
defrosted.Thesefoodsmustbecookedandeaten(within24
hours).
• Freshfoodthatneedstobefrozenmustnotcomeintocontact
withfoodthathasalreadybeendefrosted.
• Donotplaceglassbottleswhichcontainliquids,andwhich
arecorkedorhermeticallysealedinthefreezerbecausethey
couldbreak.
• The maximumquantity of food that may be frozen daily is
indicated on the plate containing the technical properties
locatedonthebottomleftsideoftherefrigeratorcompartment
(forexample:Kg/24h:4).
• To freeze (if the freezer is already operating): press the
rapid freezing QUICK FREEZE button (corresponding blue
indicatorlightilluminates),insertthefoodandclosethedoor.
Thefunctionisdisabledautomaticallyafter24hoursorwhen
optimaltemperatureshavebeenreached(indicatorlightgoes
out)
! Donotstorefoodtoo large in the upper freezer drawer if is
presentthe‘IceDevice”.
!Donotopenthedoorduringfreezing.
!Ifthereisapowercutormalfunction,donotopenthefreezer
door.Thiswillhelpmaintainthetemperatureinsidethefreezer,
ensuringthatfoodsareconservedforatleast9-14hours.
ICE DEVICE

Afterpouringwaterinthespecialicecups, place them in their
placesintheicedevice.Afterabout2hours,theicecubeswillbe
ready.Inordertogettheicecubes,itwillbesufficienttoturnthe
twobuttonstotheright.Theicecubeswillfallintothetraybelow,
readytobeused.

Food Care Zone *
Areadedicatedtothestorageoffreshfood,suchasmeatand
fish.Thankstothelowtemperatureinsidethecompartment,the
FoodCareZoneextendstheperiodoftimeforwhichthefood
canbestored,keepingitfreshforuptoaweek.
“FOOD CARE ZONE 0°C”/ Safe Defrost*:
Inthe“FOODCAREZONE0°C”compartmenttherearelower
temperaturesthaninthefridge.Temperaturescangobelow0°C.
Thiscompartmentistheidealspottostoremeatandfish.You
canalsostoremilk,dairyproducts,freshpasta,cookedfoodor
leftovers.
Thiscompartmentisalsosuitabletodefrostfoodsinahealthy
way,becausethedefrostingprocessatlowtemperaturesinhibits
themicroorganismsproliferation.
Thiscompartmentisnotsuitableforvegetables,saladandsalads.
The0°C can be obtained in normal conditions and whenthe
fridgecompartmentissetto4°andthefreezerissetto-18°C.
Whenyoudecreasethefridgetemperatureyoualsodecrease
thetemperatureofthe“FOODCAREZONE0°C”compartment.
Maintenance and care
Switching the appliance off
Duringcleaningandmaintenanceitisnecessarytodisconnect
theappliancefromtheelectricitysupply:
1. settheFREEZEROPERATIONknobonOFF;
2. pulltheplugoutofthesocket
Cleaning the appliance
• Theexternalandinternalparts,aswellastherubbersealsmay
becleanedusingaspongethathasbeensoakedinlukewarm
waterandbicarbonateofsodaorneutralsoap.Donotuse
solvents,abrasiveproducts,bleachorammonia.
• Theremovableaccessoriesmaybesoakedinwarmwaterand
soapordishwashingliquid.Rinseanddrythemcarefully.
• The back of the appliance maycollect dust which can be
removedbydelicatelyusingthehoseofavacuumcleanerset
onmediumpower.Theappliancemustbeswitchedoffand
theplugmustbepulledoutbeforecleaningtheappliance.
