#1 Is the inner pot teflon?

Yes it is a light coating of tephlon

#2 Is it a retractable cord?

No. The cord is not retractable. We just wrap it around the cooker when not in use. It is no problem.

#3 Does the keep warm function auto shut off after a certain time?

No. The wam function remains on until the rice cooker is unplugged. It is recommended that you do not leave the warm function on for longer than 12 hours.

#4 Will this cook brown rice?

For brown rice, we put the water and rice into the cooker and wait 30 minutes before turning it on to cook the rice. We have never used more than a cup each of water & rice since it’s just the two of us.

#5 Is the inner pot made of aluminum?

Yes, with a nonstick coating.
