#1 Does this automatically go back to the turbo charge cradle when it is finished cleaning?
No. It returns to the spot where it started. Turbo charge cradle just lets it recharge faster.
#2 How long does it take to clean the whole house?
The charge lasts about an hour. Typically I use it one section of the house at a time. It can clean my kitchen, dining area, and family room in one charge. Of course, house and room sizes differ, so it the time it takes to clean your house may be different from mine.
#3 Does tracking work with open rafter ceilings, like in a basement?
I do not have open rafter ceilings so I cannot give you a good answer. Once I placed it on a table under a ceiling fan and had problems with the signal. Unless someone else has experience with open rafter ceilings and answers, you might want to direct your question to the manufacturer.
#4 I have lots of electrical cords across muy concrete floors. Will it work around them?
It is a very smart robot and for me with lots of furniture it does work around them. But I remove the electrical cords to make all cleaner. It will go around it but anything on the floor will slow it down. So with lots of small obstacles it will not clean as good and it will do it very slowly. I don't think that is a good fit.
Yes, the iRobot Braava 380t includes the turbo charge cradle. It also includes a NorthStar Navigation Cube. After a cleaning cycle, Braava does not return automatically to the charge cradle for recharging.
I use the Swiffer sweeper cloths with it. It works for sweeping. The swiffer sweeper cloths doesn't work for a heavy mop, but for light mopping I spray a little water on the floor in the area where it starts and it does nice light mopping. For heavier dirt I still always use the microfiber cloth included, which is easy to throw in the washing machine when done. My floor are the cleanest they've ever been with a lot less work.
