Cleaning agents
To better maintain your appliance avoid the following:
- cleaning agents containing soda, ammonia, acid or chloride,
- cleaning agents containing soda, ammonia, acid or chloride,
- abrasive cleaning agents e.g. scouring powder or scourin cream cleansers, pumice stone,
- abrasive cleaning agents e.g. scouring powder or scouring cream cleansers, pumice stone,
- stainless steel cleaners,
- dishwasher cleaner,
- oven sprays,
- glass cleaners,
- abrasive hard sponges and brushes such as pan scrubbers,
- magic erasers,
- sharp metal scrapers.
Cleaning the interior and accessories
- Clean the interior and the accessories using a mild solution of warm water and liquid dish soap. After cleaning, wipe everything with clean water, then dry with a soft cloth.
- Leave the appliance doors and drawers open for a short time
Cleaning the air filter
- The air filter should be cleaned when the air filter symbol on the control panel comes on.
- Remove the cover with the ventilation slits. No tools are required.
- Push the latch of the air filter downwards and take it out.
- Clean the air filter in the dishwasher or by hand with warm water and liquid dish soap.
- Replace the air filter by reversing the removal procedure.
- Replace the cover with the ventilation slits.
- Reset the air filter indicator
Shelf above the fruit and vegetable drawers
The shelf above the fruit and vegetable drawers can be removed for cleaning.
- Lift the shelf at the front, pull it forwards slightly to lift the stops, and slowly pull the shelf out.
