Bosch SHPM65W55N/11 Questions and Answers

#1 Do the dishes come out dry at the end of the cycle? A sales person told me that Bosch does not have heating units in their dishwashers.

Yes, the dishes come out dry. Bosch dishwashers do not have a heating element located inside the tub, but do have an internal flow through water heater which heats the water coming in.

#2 What is the sound level on this model?

This dishwasher will run at 44 decibels.

#3 Can you anchor the dishwasher to side cabinets? I have a quartz countertop and don't want to screw into it.

Yes, you can side mount the dishwasher to your cabinet.

#4 Will it clean stuck on food particles? Or do I need to rinse beforehand? Thank you.

There are a couple of things you can do for stuck on food particles. We advise scraping your plates before placing them in the dishwasher. Also the Heavy cycle is best for cleaning items with baked-on food or grease. These dishes would normally require soaking or hand scouring. You can also use the Rinse Cycle if you need to pre-rinse dishes to avoid odors. Place unrinsed dishes inside the dishwasher and select the Rinse cycle. Uses less water than hand rinsing and very low energy. You can then select your cycle and option.
