GE - General Electric GBSC0HBXARWW Questions and Answers

#1 I am trying to level the refrigerator. There are casters instead of the leveling feet shown in the on line instructions. I tried backing out the two fasteners on the front behind the grille but to no avail. How can I level the unit?

Thank you for reaching out, this is a great question and we are happy to provide guidance! We apologize that you're experiencing difficulty leveling the refrigerator, we know this must be frustrating having a wobbly appliance. Adjustable legs at the front corners of the refrigerator should be set so the refrigerator is firmly positioned on the floor, and the front is raised just enough that the door closes easily when opened about halfway. To adjust the leveling legs, turn the legs clockwise to raise the refrigerator, counterclockwise to lower it.

#2 Can't have an icemaker as we're in an RV park only in the winter. Where does the ice tray go?

We have no ice maker.

We use the top shelf for ice trays. This positions works ok.

The big problem is that its its really difficult to place newly filled ice trays into the bottom freezer without spilling water since the sliding shelf is useless.

Option #1 - We recommend filling all trays at once, placing them on a metal tray with a lip, and carefully moving them into poosition without moving out the shelf.

Option #2 - buy bagged ice and keep it in the botom drawer).

Welcome to bottom freezers with no drawers - bad design.
