#1 Where is the lint trap located? If on top, how big is it and is there room to store anything on top?

The lint trap is inside the door. It is not on top. The top is angled slightly (higher in back and slopes a little to the front) so it might be hard to store certain items on top. We leave our laundry baskets stacked on top and that works well.

#2 What is the clearance required from the wall to hook up the vent for the dryer?

Because of the unusual way mine is set up, it's about 6 inches from the wall... but my washer and dryer are in the basement and there is a pipe that runs from the back of the dryer to the ceiling and out under my deck, so that there are wide elbows at the floor and ceiling. I chose not to use the coiled method.
