Install the odour filter.
Checking the units
1.
Check whether the fitted unit is level and has suffi-
cient load-bearing capacity.
The max. weight of the appliance is 12kg.
2.
Ensure that the fitted unit is heat-resistant up to
90°C.
3.
Ensure that the distance between two units is equal
to the width of the appliance.
4.
Ensure that the stability of the fitted unit is also guar-
anteed following cut-out work.
5.
Ensure that the adjacent units have a load-bearing
capacity of up to 20kg.
Note:The installation can only be carried out on one
unit.
Preparing the units
Requirement:The unit is suitable for the installation.
1.
Make the cut-out for the exhaust pipe.
Note:The exhaust air opening can be attached
above the fitted unit or behind the fitted unit.
2.
Attach the drill template to the unit.
3.
Drill the holes.
4.
Place the drill template on the back of the cover
cladding.
5.
Drill the holes no more than 6mm deep.
6.
Secure the cover in place.
Checking the wall
1.
Check whether the wall is vertical and has sufficient
load-bearing capacity.
The maximum weight of the appliance is 12kg.
2.
Drill the hole depth in accordance with the length of
the screws.
The wall plugs must have a secure grip.
The enclosed screws and wall plugs are suitable for
use with solid brickwork. Suitable fasteners must be
used for other structures (e.g. plasterboard, aerated
concrete, Poroton blocks).
Preparing the wall
1.
Ensure that there are no electrical wires, gas pipes
or water pipes in the area where holes are to be
drilled.
2.
Cover the hob to prevent damage.
3.
Mark the holes.
4.
Drill the holes.
5.
Insert the wall plugs flush with the wall.
