Activated charcoal filters
Activated charcoal filters bind odorous substances in
air recirculation mode. With normal use (approx. 1–2
hours a day), the activated charcoal filter should be
replaced twice a year.
Notes
The activated charcoal filter is not included with the
appliance. The activated charcoal filter is available
from specialist retailers, from our after-sales service
or from our online shop.
The activated charcoal filter cannot be cleaned or
reactivated.
Activated charcoal filters do not contain any harmful
substances and can be disposed of with your
normal household waste.
Fitting the activated charcoal filter
1. Remove the metal grease filter.
2. Insert the screw through the wing nut and the sleeve.
Screw it into the centre of the intermediate floor.
Note: The screw, wing nut and sleeve are included
with the activated charcoal filter.
3. If the appliance has a spacer rail, remove this. Use a
screwdriver to push the two tabs on the intermediate
floor inwards.
4. Mask the activated charcoal filter using the enclosed
sealing strips.
5. Insert the activated charcoal filter at the rear, fold it
up and lock it in the centre using the wing nut. If the
appliance has a spacer rail, reinsert this.
6. Reinsert the metal grease filter.
Removing the activated charcoal filter
1. Remove the metal grease filter.
2. If the appliance has a spacer rail, remove this.
Unlock the activated charcoal filter with the wing nut
in the centre and remove it.
3. Replace the activated carbon filter and lock it in
place using the wing nut.
4. If the appliance has a spacer rail, reinsert this.
Reinsert the metal grease filter.
