Powering the Unit
AC Power
Plug the detachable AC cord into a standard AC outlet (100-240V~ 50/60Hz)
Battery Power
Requires 4 C batteries, not included.
Tuning the FM Radio
Step 1: Adjust the EQ/ MODE button to FM mode.
- Extend the FM antenna to improve FM radio reception.
Step 2: Short press to jump to the previous or next available station.
Playing a CD
Step 1: Open the CD door, and place a CD or CD-R/RW INTO THE PLAYER.
Step 2: Adjust the EQ/ MODE button to CD mode.
Step 3: Press the Play/Pause Button to begin playing the loaded CD.
Using the Auxiliary Input
Step 1: Connect a mini-phone 3.5mm Cable (not included) to the Auxiliary Input on the unit and the audio output on an MP3 player.
Step 2: Adjust the EQ/ MODE button to AUX IN mode.
- Audio played through the connected MP3 player will now be heard through the unit.
Connecting your Bluetooth device
Step 1: Press the EQ/MODE button on the unit repeatedly until Bluetooth (BT) mode is selected.
Step 2: Activate Bluetooth feature on your phone, tablet or other Bluetooth enabled device.
Step 3: On your phone/tablet, find the option to ‘Search for nearby devices’(or similar). When “RD-N327A’ is detected, select it to connect wirelessly via Bluetooth
Step 4: Youcan now play audio from your phone/tablet; you will hear it through the RD-N327A unit’s speakers.
Note: The above procedure is for first use; for subsequent Bluetooth playback, RD-N327A should already be in your phone/tablet’s Bluetooth connection history.
Playback from USB device
Step 1: Connect a USB memory device to the USB port.
Step 2: Press the EQ/MODE button on the unit repeatedly until USB mode is selected.
Step 3: Press the Play/ Pause button to play mp3 format files from the USB device.

Control Definitions
1 POWER
Press to turn on the unit or switch to Standby mode. The default mode is FM.
2 PREV/TUN- and NEXT/TUN+
Press ppishortly to play the previous or next song in CD/ USB/ BT modes.
Note: Previous and Next functions do not work in AUX mode.
In FM mode, short press to jump to the previous or next available station.
Press and hold for semi-automatic search through lower or higher frequencies.
3 EQ/MODE
Press shortly to switch between the sound sources:Radio/CD/USB/AUX/BT.
Press and hold to switch between the EQ functions:ROCK/POP/FLAT/CLASS/JAZZ.
4 Earphone Out
Connect headphones/ earphones here.
Note: Connecting earphones will mute the sound from the unit’s own speakers.
5 Open/Close
CD Compartment
6 P+/ SCAN/
In CD mode, press to play or pause the CD.
In FM mode, press shortly to select a stored FM station; press and hold for automatic scanning of available frequencies.
7 REPEAT/ STOP
In CD/ USB mode, press this button shortly to repeat a particular song; press and hold to stop playing.
Note: REPEAT/ STOP button doesn’t work in AUX/ BT modes.
In FM mode, press this button to store a particular station into the memory.
Note: Up to 20 stations can be stored.
8 VOLUME +/-
Turn dial clockwise or anticlockwise to increase or decrease volume.
9 AUX
Use a 3.5mm auxiliary cable to connect to an external audio source. (eg. MP3 player)
10 USB
Connect a USB memory device to play audio files from it.
Note: Only mp3 format files can be played
11 AC Power Input
Connect one end of the detachable Power cord here and connect the other end to a suitable mains socket.
