WARRANTY POLICY FOR PRODUCTS PURCHASED IN MEXICO
Warranty Policy for products purchased in Mexico
We warranty this unit with all its pieces, components and labor in the terms established in the present warranty, from the date it was purchased or the date when
theconsumer receives theproduct presentingthe receipt,consideringthe following:
CONCEPTS COVERED BY THE WARRANTY
▪Fabrication defectsthat impede thetotal or partially the correct functioning of the unit.
▪Repair, piece exchange or components
Labor and transportation expenses derived from the fulfillment of the warranty, within our services network.
CONCEPTS NOT COVERED BY THE WARRANTY
▪When the product has been used in different conditions to the normal ones or when it has not been used according to the Use & Care Guide.
▪When the product has been used in/for Commercial or Industrial conditions.
Labor and theservice for:
oCorrect the general connection of your appliance that WAS NOT installed by a Whirlpool authorized technician.
oUsage explication and demonstration of how your appliance works.
oChanges or reparations at home: Plumbing, Masonry, Electricity, etc.
▪Service calls to repair light bulbs, air and waterfilters.
▪Aesthetic damages, when the product is exposed outside.
▪Damage caused to the unit or any other part or replacement, due to inadequate high voltage, defective electrical installations and/or fluctuations in the electrical current.
▪Damage caused by accidents, alterations, inadequate use, abuse, incorrect installation, installation that did not followed the requirements mentioned in the installation
instructions of the product.
▪Aesthetic damages, including scratches, dents, chips or any other damage to the finish of the appliance.
▪The transportation of the appliance by clients request.
▪Repairsofthe productbyaperson NOTauthorized by Whirlpooland/or usageofNOT originalpieces.
▪Damage caused by re ubication and re installation of your appliance, if it was installed in an un accesible place or if it was not installed in comformity with the installation
instructions posted by Whirlpool.
▪Repair pieces or labor in an appliance with model/serial numbers removed, altered or if they can’t be easily determined.
▪Damage caused by strange elements to the appliance (Ex: coins, buttons, clothes accessories, etc.)
▪Damage caused by the inadequate use of products such as chemical or abrasive cleaners, not fabricated, destined and/or recommended to clean appliances.
▪Damage caused by glass parts, porcelain, plastic parts, or cabinet paint and in general the damages to the aesthetical part of the product, caused by the normal deterioration of
the product or it’s incorrect usage.
▪Damage caused by an accident, flood, earthquake, fire, natural disasters and in general any natural or human incident, that can be considered as an unfortunate case or
circumstance beyond one’s control.
▪Damage caused by harmful fauna (rats, insects and/or any other animal).
▪The normal deterioration of the product, components and/or accessories, same that can be acquired communicating to the referred phone numbers in the lines below.
▪The general maintenance tasks of the product not originated in failures and/or comprehended in derived reparations of the warranty exigibility.
Proceduretomake effective thewarranty:
thefinal consumer consider that an event covered by this policy has happened he/she should call theWhirlpool Contact Center, fromMonterrey, N.L. andit’s
metropolitan area to the 83.29.21.00 and from therestofthe Republic to the 01 (81) 83.29.21.00 in order to carry out aServicerequirement.The reparation
time should be in adeadlinenolonger that 30 days, from the datewhenthe requirement was made.Inthe date of yourservice,present theproductwiththe
Warranty Policy with the dataof Identification Format of your appliance,and thereceiptofthe purchase dateorwhen theproduct was received.
Term : 1 year Warranty (on all it’s pieces, components and labor)
3 year warranty in motor Direct Drive assembly starting from the date the product was received by the user

This document should be presentedfor anytransactionrelated to thewarrantyof
products acquired inside Mexico, if youpurchasedyour productinother country,
go with thedistributor whereit was acquired. The consumershould maintain this
document in their power and in a safe place.
Theconsumercan requestfor thewarrantytobeeffectiveonthe situations it covers
to themanufacturerofthe productinthe address and/or phoneinthe linesbelow.
In case of lossofthe warranty, theconsumer needs to presentit’spurchase
receipt to make valid the warranty.
