Use Guide

Remote Controller Overview

The included remote control allows full operation of the air conditioner. Point the remote toward the indoor unit’s receiver. Maximum operating distance: approximately 8 meters (26 ft).

• Power Button: Turns the unit on/off.
• Mode Button: Cycles through Cool, Heat, Fan, Dry, and Auto modes.
• Temperature +/-: Adjusts set temperature (range: 16°C–30°C / 60°F–86°F).
• Fan Speed Button: Selects Low, Medium, High, Turbo, or Auto fan speed.
• Turbo Button: Activates rapid cooling/heating at maximum fan speed.
• Mute Button: Engages quiet operation at reduced fan speed.
• Swing Button: Controls horizontal/vertical louver movement for 8-way airflow.
• Timer Button: Sets delayed start/stop (0.5–24 hours).
• Sleep Button: Gradually adjusts temperature for comfortable sleep.

Basic Operation

1. Power On: Press the Power button on the remote. The indoor unit will beep and the display will show current settings.
2. Select Mode: Press Mode to choose Cooling, Heating, Fan Only, or Dehumidify (Dry).
3. Set Temperature: Use the +/- buttons to set your desired temperature.
4. Adjust Fan Speed: Press Fan Speed to cycle through Low, Med, High, Turbo, or Auto.
5. Enable Mute (optional): Press Mute for whisper-quiet operation (37 dB).
6. Adjust Airflow Direction: Press Swing to start/stop louver oscillation. Hold Swing to set a fixed position.

Using the Timer

1. With the unit on, press Timer to set an auto-off time.
2. With the unit off, press Timer to set an auto-on time.
3. Use +/- to adjust the delay (0.5 to 24 hours).
4. Press Timer again to confirm. The remote will display the timer icon.

Dehumidification (Dry Mode)

• Press Mode until the Dry icon appears.
• The unit will operate at low fan speed to remove excess humidity (up to 1.1L/hour).
• Temperature cannot be adjusted in Dry mode; the unit automatically maintains a comfortable level.

Turbo Mode

• Press Turbo to activate maximum cooling or heating for 30 minutes.
• The fan runs at highest speed; the compressor operates continuously.
• After 30 minutes, the unit returns to previous settings.

Sleep Mode

• Press Sleep to activate energy-saving comfort during the night.
• In cooling mode, the temperature increases by 1°C after 1 hour, and another 1°C after 2 hours.
• In heating mode, the temperature decreases by 1°C after 1 hour, and another 1°C after 2 hours.
• The fan speed automatically adjusts to low for quiet operation.

Installation Notes

Important: Only certified HVAC technicians should perform installation. Improper installation may void the warranty and cause damage or injury.

• Ensure the ceiling can support the unit weight (118 lbs).
• Maintain minimum clearances as specified in the full installation manual (supplied with the unit).
• The 25ft installation kit includes pre-flared copper lines, communication wire, drain hose, and insulation.
• Use a dedicated 208/230V circuit with appropriate breaker (consult local codes).
• After installation, run a test cycle in each mode to verify proper operation.
