Safety Information
WARNING: To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, or injury:
- This appliance is for household use only. Not for commercial use.
- Use only with 120V AC power outlets. Using with other voltages may cause damage or fire. A voltage converter is not sufficient.
- Do not immerse the steamer, cord, or plug in water or other liquids.
- Unplug the steamer when filling with water, cleaning, or when not in use.
- Do not use the steamer if it has been dropped, damaged, or is leaking. Contact customer support.
- Keep the steamer and cord away from heated surfaces and open flames.
- Do not direct steam at people, animals, or electrical equipment.
- The steamer produces hot steam and surfaces become hot during use. Do not touch the aluminum plate or steam nozzle. Handle by the insulated body only.
- Always use and store the steamer on a stable, flat, heat-resistant surface.
- Do not leave the steamer unattended while it is plugged in.
Getting Started
Before First Use
- Remove all packaging materials.
- Inspect the steamer for any visible damage.
- Wipe the exterior with a damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners.
Filling the Water Tank
- Ensure the steamer is unplugged and has cooled completely.
- Press the tank release button (if present) and pull the water tank downward to detach it from the main body.
- Open the tank cap. Fill the tank with clean, cool tap water up to the MAX fill line (260ml / 8.8oz). Do not overfill.
Note: Do not use distilled water, chemically softened water, or scented water, as this may affect performance.
- Securely close the tank cap. Ensure it is tight to prevent leaks.
- Align the tank with the body and push it upwards until it clicks securely into place.
Usage Guide
Basic Operation
- Prepare Garment: Hang the garment on a sturdy hanger or lay it flat on an ironing board.
- Power On: Plug the power cord into a 120V outlet. The steamer will begin heating immediately.
- Wait for Heat-up: Allow approximately 35 seconds for the steamer to reach operating temperature. You may see a small amount of initial vapor.
- Steam: Hold the steamer by its handle. Point the nozzle towards the fabric, keeping a distance of about 1-2 inches. Press and hold the steam button to release a continuous flow of steam. Move the steamer slowly downwards over the fabric, following the garment's weave.
- For Stubborn Wrinkles: You can gently stretch the fabric taut with your other hand while steaming. For dry ironing, you can press the hot aluminum plate directly against the fabric while holding the steam button.
- Power Off: Release the steam button to stop the steam flow. When finished, unplug the steamer from the outlet.
Helpful Tips
- Test the steamer on an inconspicuous area of delicate fabrics (like silk or velvet) first.
- For heavier fabrics like denim or linen, use slower, repeated passes.
- Do not hold the steamer in one spot for too long on sensitive fabrics.
- After extended use, the water tank may become hot. Allow it to cool before refilling.
Cleaning and Maintenance
- After Each Use: Unplug the steamer and allow it to cool completely. Empty any remaining water from the tank to prevent mineral buildup.
- Cleaning the Tank: Detach the tank, rinse it with clean water, and let it air dry with the cap open.
- Cleaning the Exterior: Wipe the body with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use chemical cleaners or abrasives.
- Descaling (If Needed): If steam output decreases over time, mineral deposits (scale) may have built up. Mix one part white vinegar with one part water, fill the tank halfway, and run the steamer to expel the solution into a sink. Follow with several tanks of clean water to rinse thoroughly.
- Storage: Store the steamer in a cool, dry place. Loop the power cord loosely; do not wrap it tightly around the unit.
