  • Keep it away from direct sunlight, rain, and heat sources.
  • Ensure it is within 200 ft (60 m) of the main unit, with minimal obstructions like thick walls or metal.
  • The sensor is IP44 waterproof but is not designed for direct, prolonged exposure to heavy rain.

Setting the Alarm

  1. Press the "ALARM" button on the back of the unit.
  2. Use the "+" and "-" buttons to set the alarm hour and minute.
  3. Press "ALARM" again to confirm and activate the alarm.

  1. Ensure the AC power adapter is connected.
  2. Press the "LIGHT" or "BACKLIGHT" button on the unit to cycle through the 5 brightness levels.
  3. To keep the backlight on continuously, the unit must remain plugged into AC power.

Troubleshooting

    • Re-insert batteries in the main unit to force a new sensor search.
  • Incorrect Time:
    • Verify the correct time zone is selected.
    • Ensure DST setting is correct for your region.
    • Leave the unit plugged in near a window overnight to receive the atomic time signal.
  • Backlight Not Working:
    • Connect the AC power adapter. The 5-level backlight is not available on battery-only power.
