4. Parts Identification

Main Tool

  • 1/2" Square Drive Anvil: Accepts standard 1/2" impact sockets and accessories.
  • Forward/Reverse Switch: Located near the wrench head. Sets the direction of rotation for installing or removing fasteners.

5. Basic Operation

SAFETY WARNING: Always wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) including safety glasses. Ensure the work piece is securely held. Keep hands away from the rotating anvil and accessory.

5.1 Installing the Battery

  1. Align the battery with the slot on the tool's handle.
  2. Slide the battery firmly into place until it clicks and locks.

5.2 Removing the Battery

  1. Press the battery release buttons on both sides of the battery.
  2. Slide the battery out of the tool.

5.3 Charging the Battery

  1. Plug the charger into a standard 120V wall outlet.
  2. Insert the battery into the charger. The charger indicator light will illuminate.
  3. A full charge takes approximately 2.5 hours. Do not leave the battery on the charger indefinitely after it is fully charged.

5.4 Using the Impact Wrench

  1. Select Direction: Use the forward/reverse switch to select the desired rotation.
    • Forward (Clockwise): For installing or tightening fasteners.
    • Reverse (Counter-Clockwise): For loosening or removing fasteners.
  2. Attach Socket: Push a compatible 1/2" impact socket onto the square drive anvil until it locks (a pin detent will hold it in place).
  3. Position Tool: Place the socket securely onto the fastener (nut, bolt, lug nut).
  4. Operate: Squeeze the variable-speed trigger. Start at a low speed to align the socket, then increase pressure for full torque. The tool will deliver impacts to loosen or tighten the fastener.
  5. LED Light: The LED light will turn on automatically when the trigger is pressed to illuminate your work area.

6. Battery Charge Indicator

The battery is equipped with a charge level indicator. Press the button on the battery to check the remaining charge.

  • All Lights On: Battery charge is approximately 100%.
  • Two Lights On: Battery charge is approximately 65%.
  • One Light On: Battery charge is approximately 25%. Recharge soon.
  • No Lights / Flashing Light: Battery is depleted or requires charging. Connect to the charger.

7. Maintenance and Storage

  • Keep the tool clean and free of dust, oil, and grease. Wipe with a dry cloth.
  • Do not use solvents or water to clean the tool.
  • Store the tool and battery in the provided case in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and moisture.
  • For long-term storage, remove the battery from the tool and store it separately at a partial charge (approx. 50%).
  • Use only NEIKO replacement batteries (Model 40064A for 2.0Ah or 40065A for 4.0Ah).
  • The tool contains no user-serviceable parts. Do not disassemble.

8. Troubleshooting
