Overview
The Weize YTZ7S-BS is a sealed, maintenance-free Absorbed Glass Mat (AGM) battery designed as a replacement for compatible powersports vehicles.
This 12-volt battery is pre-charged, spill-proof, and requires no water addition. It is constructed with AGM technology for resistance to vibration and extreme temperatures.

Installation Guide
WARNING: Always wear protective eyewear and gloves when handling batteries. Ensure the vehicle is off and the ignition key is removed before beginning installation. Avoid short-circuiting the terminals.
Tools Required
- Wrench or socket set (for nut & bolt terminals)
- Wire brush or terminal cleaner
- Anti-corrosion spray or grease (optional)
Removal of Old Battery
- Disconnect the negative (-) cable from the battery terminal first.
- Disconnect the positive (+) cable from the battery terminal.
- Remove any brackets or hold-downs securing the battery.
- Carefully lift the old battery out of the battery compartment.
Installation of New Battery
- Clean the battery tray and cable terminals with a wire brush.
- Place the new Weize YTZ7S-BS battery into the tray, ensuring it is oriented correctly (Negative terminal on left, Positive on right).
- Secure the battery with the hold-down bracket to prevent movement.
- Connect the positive (+) vehicle cable to the positive battery terminal and tighten securely.
- Connect the negative (-) vehicle cable to the negative battery terminal and tighten securely.
- Apply a thin coat of anti-corrosion grease to the terminals if desired.
Charging & Maintenance
Initial State
The battery is shipped pre-charged and ready for installation. For optimal performance and longevity, it is recommended to give it a full charge using a compatible charger before first use, especially if it has been in storage.
Charging Instructions
- Use a smart, automatic battery charger designed for 12V sealed AGM or SLA batteries.
- Do not use a charger designed for wet cell batteries unless it has an AGM-specific mode.
- The recommended charge current is 0.55A. Do not exceed the charger manufacturer's guidelines.
- Charge in a well-ventilated area.
- Disconnect the battery from the vehicle before charging, if possible.
Long-Term Storage
- If the vehicle will not be used for more than two weeks, disconnect the battery or use a battery tender/maintainer.
- Store the battery in a cool, dry place.
- Recharge the battery every 3-6 months if it is not connected to a maintainer.
Safety & Warnings
- Explosion Risk: Do not expose the battery to open flame, sparks, or smoke near the battery.
- Short Circuit: Never allow metal tools or objects to touch both terminals simultaneously.
- Disposal: This battery contains lead and sulfuric acid. Recycle it properly at an automotive store, recycling center, or battery retailer. Do not dispose of in household trash.
- Temperature: Do not charge the battery in temperatures exceeding 122°F (50°C).
- Damage: Do not puncture, crush, or disassemble the battery case.
