The instructions say 300 feet. My living room is about 40 feet from the grill so I know it carries well that far.

At this time there is no way to disable this feature, we are looking to change this in future models.

The TP21 is a single probe thermometer while the TP20 and TP22 are dual probe. The only difference between the TP20 and TP22 is the layout and size.
