Panasonic NN-GN68KS Questions and Answers

#1 For convection cooking, should I put a frozen pie on the rack or directly on the pan?

For frozen foods, place them directly on the enamel tray on wire rack.

#2 Does this unit require its own circuit?

Yes, the oven must be operated on a SEPARATE CIRCUIT. No other appliance should share the circuit with the microwave oven. If it does, the branch circuit fuse may blow or the circuit breaker may trip. The oven must be plugged into at least a 20 A, 120 V, 60 Hz GROUNDED OUTLET. Where a standard two-prong outlet is encountered, it is the personal responsibility and obligation of the consumer to have it replaced with a properly grounded three-prong outlet.

#3 Can I disable the sounds when pressing buttons, but keep the end of cycle beep? Currently the silent mode mutes the buttons and end of cycle.

This model does not have silent mode.

#4 Does anyone know how to set the clock ?

With the oven NOT cooking, press Timer/Clock twice; the colon will blink. Enter time of day using the Time buttons.
Press Timer/Clock to finish setting and the colon (:) will stop blinking.
