GE - General Electric GTD75ECSLWS Questions and Answers

#1 This is a brand new dryer. I can not figure out how to have it
signal when load is dry. i press sound button but nothing
happens. Can you help?

We are sorry to hear about the trouble you are experiencing
with the end of cycle signal. Use the Volume button to
change the volume of the button presses and the end of
cycle signal. Press the button until you reach the desired
volume or off. The clothes should be removed when the
end of cycle signal goes off so wrinkles do not set in. If
pressing this Volume button does not allow you to adjust
the volume of the end of cycle signal, we recommend
taking advantage of your warranty by having a GE
Appliance technician properly diagnose and repair your
appliance.

#2 My dryer is about 2 years old and now it has started acting
up I push the poetry button and it drugs for 5 min and stop
over and override the see thing ..please help...

We are sorry to hear you are having an issue and are happy to
help. We recommend resetting the electronics to the unit by
disconnecting power at the power source or at the circuit
breaker for about 30 seconds. If the issue is not resolved,
service is needed.

#3 How do i remove the top of the dryer so i can see the drum?

We do not recommend trying to remove the dryer top off. Any
type of disassembly that we provide will be in our owner's
manual and if the information is not available, it is because we
recommend having a professional technician do this.
