It depends. Your TV must have an audio output. These speakers have Bluetooth, 1/4" and stereo mini-jack inputs. Your TV would need to be able to output to one of those or you would need an adapter or cable that would facilitate one of the above. That being said, I have taken the audio from my DVD player, my computer, and my home stereo receiver and was able to send the audio through these speakers wonderfully. But I have adapters for all of those combinations. Hope that helps.
