This thermometer is watertight and floats on the surface of
the water. Place it in the bath water. Its electronic sensor
enables it to display the temperature of the water in just a
few seconds.
Remarks:
The display shows a visual warning:
if the water is too cold: temperature below 30°C (fig 1).
if the water is too hot: temperature above 39°C (fig 2).
The ideal temperature for baby’s bath is between and 36.5°C
and 38°C.
Baby can play with this thermometer in complete safety, as it
complies with the European Union safety standards.
Out of the bath, the thermometer displays the ambient
temperature.
Changing the battery
When the battery is flat, it must be replaced (see exploded
view).
Battery may be bought from many shops or from our TEFAL
approved centres.
Remove the display unit from its housing.
Remove the battery cover.
Take out the used battery.
Insert the new battery.
Close the battery cover.
Fit the display unit back into its housing.
Cleaning
Clean with a non-abrasive detergent.
Important: ensure that there is no scale on the electronic
sensor (wipe clean with a cloth).
