REVERSING THE DOOR SWING (CONT.)
REMOVE DOOR STOPS FROM
THE RIGHT
On each door, remove the metal door stop from the
bottom right side of the doors. Place the door stops
and screws aside until the handles are transferred to
the right side of the doors.

TRANSFER REFRIGERATOR
DOOR HANDLE TO THE RIGHT
Remove the two
screws holding the
handle to the top of
the door.
Slide the handle
up on the fastener and
remove the handle.
Remove the handle
fastener with the
Phillip’s screwdriver.
Transfer the
fastener to the right
side and move the
threaded plug button
to the left side of the
refrigerator door. Fastener should be flush with the
door—DO NOT overtighten.

After removing the handle: Move the small plug
buttons from the top right side of the door top and
insert them into the holes on the opposite side.

Move the large plug button from the left edge of the
door and insert it into the hole on the opposite side.
Repeat this step on the bottom of the door.

Reinstalling the handle: Attach the handle to the
right side of the door.
Attach the handle
to the fastener and
slide it down into
position. Line up
the handle with the
screw holes in the top
of the door and
tighten the screws.

TRANSFER FREEZER DOOR
HANDLE TO THE RIGHT
Remove the two
screws holding the
handle to the bottom
of the door. Slide
the handle down on
the fastener and
remove the handle.
Remove the handle
fastener with a Phillip’s
screwdriver. Transfer
the fastener to the right side and move the GE badge
to the left side of the freezer door. Fastener should be
flush with the door—DO NOT overtighten.

Move the large plug
button from the left edge
of the door and insert it
into the hole on the
opposite side. Repeat this
step on the bottom of the
door.

Attach the handle
to the fastener and slide
it up into position.
Line up the handle
with the screw holes in
the bottom of the door
and tighten the screws.
