Caring for Your Microwave Oven
To make sureyour microwave oven looks good and works well for a long time,you should
maintain itproperly, For proper care, pleasefollowthese instructionscarefully.
For interior surfaces: Wash often with warm, sudsy
water and a sponge or
softcloth,
Use only mild,
nonabrasive soaps or a
milddetergent, Be sure
to keep the areas clean
where the door and
oven frame touch
when closed. Wipe well
with clean cloth.
Over time,stains can occur on thesurfacesas the
result of food particlesspatteringduring cooking, This
is normal.
For stubborn soil, boil a
cupof water in the oven
for2 to3 minutes,
Steam will softenthe
soil, To get rid ofodors
insidethe oven, boila
cupof water with some
lemonjuice or vinegar in
it.
Use of the metal rack:
The metal rack gives you extra space when cooking
in more than one container at the same time,
1. Place rack securely in the four plastic supports.
• Rack must not touch metal walls or back of
microwave oven,
2, Place equal amounts of food both above and
below rack.
NOTE: Ifthe rack will not be used for extended
periods remove the metal rack from the oven and
store it,
To avoid riskof property damage:
1, Donot cook with rack on floor of the oven,
2, Use the metal rack when cooking equal amounts
of food atthe same time.
3. Donot use rack to pop popcorn,
4, Rackmust be on the four plasticsupportswhen
used.
5, Remove metal rackwhen not in use.

and control panel: Use
a soft cloth with spray
glass cleaner, Apply the
spray glass cleaner to
thesoft cloth; do not
spray directlyon the
oven,
NOTE: Abrasive
cleansers, steel wool
pads, grittywash cloths, some paper towels, etc.,
can dam-age the control panel and the interiorand
exterior oven surfaces,

support
To clean turntable and
turntablesupport,
wash in mild, sudsy
water; for heavily soiled
areas use a mild
cleanser and scouring
sponge. The turntable
and turntable support
are dishwasher safe,
