yes it gives pulse measurement. it also has memory so you can store readings. it has great instructions!

For the most accurate measurements we recommend you rest your elbows on a table, position your arm so that the pressure cuff is at the same height as your heart, then position your palm upward

To erase all measured values stored in the memory please press the Memory/Recall button. The stored measurement values will be displayed. Press the same Memory/Recall button again and hold it pressed until the measurement values disappear (approximately 3 seconds or more).
Kindly be informed that is not possible to erase single measurement values.

We regret to inform you the optional large cuff is designed for arm sizes 13-3/4" to 17-1/4".
