PROBLEM POSSIBLE CAUSE
REFRIGERATOR/FREEZER HAS
ODOR
Foods with strong odors should be tightly covered.
Check for spoiled food.
Interior needs cleaning. See Care and Cleaning.
Defrost water system beneath unit needs cleaning.
Air filter life has expired. Replace air filter.
Keep open box of baking soda in refrigerator/freezerUHSODFH
every 3 months.
INTERIOR LIGHT DOES NOT
WORK
No power at outlet.
Light bulb needs replacing. See Schedule Service.
Master light switch may be in the OFF position. Switch to ON.
DOOR DIFFICULT TO REOPEN
IMMEDIATELY AFTER CLOSING
Tight door seal is due to pressure equalizing within the
refrigerator.
After closing the door, wait 5–30 seconds to reopen.
