Positioning
1. Placetheapplianceinawell-ventilatedhumidity-freeroom.
2. Do not obstruct therear fan grills. The compressorand
condensergive off heat and requiregood ventilation to
operatecorrectlyandsaveenergy.
3. Leave aspaceof at least 10cm between the top partof
theapplianceandanyfurnitureaboveit,andatleast5cm
betweenthesidesandanyfurniture/sidewalls.
4.Place thedevice far from heat sources(direct sun light,
electrickitchenetc.)

Levelling
1. Installtheapplianceonalevelandrigidfloor.
2. Ifthefloorisnotperfectlyhorizontal,adjusttherefrigerator
bytighteningorlooseningthefrontfeet.
Electrical connections
Afterthe appliance has been transported,carefullyplace it
verticallyandwaitatleast3hoursbeforeconnectingittothe
electricitymains.Beforeinserting the plug into the electrical
socketensurethefollowing:
• Theapplianceisearthedandtheplugiscompliantwiththe
law.
• The socketcan withstand the maximum powerof the
appliance,
• Thevoltagemustbeintherangebetweenthevaluesindicated
onthedataplatelocatedonthebottomleftside(e.g.220-
240V).
• Thesocketiscompatiblewiththeplugoftheappliance.If
thesocketisincompatiblewiththeplug,askanauthorised
techniciantoreplaceit(see Assistance).Donotuseextension
cordsormultiplesockets.
!Oncetheappliancehasbeeninstalled,thepowersupplycable
andtheelectricalsocketmustbeeasilyaccessible.
!Thecablemustnotbebentorcompressed.
! The cablemust be checked regularlyand replaced by
authorisedtechniciansonly(seeAssistance).
! The manufacturer declines any liability should these safety
measures not be observed.
Start-up and use
Starting the appliance
! Before starting the appliance, follow the installation
instructions (see Installation).
!Beforeconnectingtheappliance,cleanthecompartmentsand
accessorieswellwithlukewarmwaterandbicarbonate.
!Electronicversionsareprovidedwithamotorprotectionswitch
thatpowersonthecompressoronlyalmost8minutesafterthe
starting.Thecompressoralsostartseachtimethepowersupply
iscutoffwhethervoluntarilyorinvoluntarily(blackout).
1. ConnecttheplugandcheckthattheFRIDGE TEMPERATURE
indicatorturnson.Iftheindicatorstaysoff,pleasepressthe
ON/OFFbutton.
2.SettheFRIDGE TEMPERATURE onanaveragevalue.After
afewhoursitwillbepossibletoinsertfoodinthefridge.
Cooling system
No Frost
TheNoFrostsystemcirculatescoldaircontinuouslytocollect
humidityand prevent ice and frost formation.Thesystem
maintainsan optimal humidity levelin the compartment,
preservingtheoriginalqualityofthefood,preventingthefood
fromstickingtogetherandmakingdefrostingathingofthepast.
Donotblocktheaerationcellsbyplacingfoodorcontainersin
directcontactwiththerefrigeratingbackpanel.Closebottles
andwrapfoodtightly.
Using the refrigerator to its full potential
• Placeonly cold or lukewarm foods in the compartment•
Rememberthatcookedfoodsdo not last longer than raw
foods.
• Donotstoreliquidsinopencontainers:theywillincreasethe
levelofhumidityintherefrigeratorandcausecondensationto
form.
