This Glass Bowl is designed to t several
different Stand Mixer models. Follow these
instructions to attach the Glass Bowl to your
Stand Mixer.
To Attach Bowl to Stand Mixer
1. Be sure speed control is OFF and Stand
Mixer is unplugged.
2. Place bowl-lift lever in down position.
3. Fit bowl supports over locating pins.
4. Press down on back of Glass Bowl until
the bowl pin snaps into spring latch.
5. Raise the Glass Bowl before mixing.
To Raise the Glass Bowl
1. Rotate lever to straight-up position.
2. Bowl must always be in raised, locked
position when mixing.
To Lower Bowl
1. Rotate lever back and down.
To Remove Glass Bowl from Stand Mixer
1. Be sure speed control is OFF and Stand
Mixer is unplugged.
2. Place bowl-lift lever in down position.
3. Remove flat beater, wire whip, or
dough hook.
4. Grasp the bowl handle and lift straight
up and off locating pins.
Your Stand Mixer is individually adjusted at
the factory for optimal performance. When
using the Glass Bowl, it may be necessary to
readjust the beater-to-bowl clearance. When
correctly positioned, the handle and pour
spout should not touch the pedestal of the
Stand Mixer. Please refer to the Stand Mixer
“Instructions” for complete information on
adjusting the beater-to-bowl clearance.
This is not recommended for microwave
oven use.
To avoid product damage, do not use the
Glass Bowl in areas of high heat such as
an oven or on a stovetop.
The Glass Bowl can only be used with
F-series attachments (see “Accessories”).
The Glass Bowl may be washed in an
automatic dishwasher; or, clean thoroughly
in hot sudsy water and rinse completely
before drying. See the “Accessories”
chart below for care and cleaning for
the accessories.
