Figure 1) Place a cup in the base large enough to hold the desired amount of coee
and insert a K-Cup® capsule into the capsule holder. NOTE: Never remove or puncture
the foil top of the K-Cup® capsule before inserting into the holder.
Figure 2) Place the water reservoir in the base and press down rmly to pierce the
K-Cup® capsule.
Figure 3) Pour hot water into the water reservoir to your desired coffee level: 6, 8 or
10 oz.
Figure 4) Place the plunger into the water reservoir and use firm, even pressure for
20-30 seconds until water is pushed through completely. Do not push too fast to
avoid splattering water and possibly causing burns.
Figure 5) Wait a few seconds for coffee to complete dripping and enjoy!
NOTE: DO NOT PULL OUT PLUNGER WITH WATER STILL IN THE RESERVOIR.
BEFORE FIRST USE
1. Carefully unpack the appliance and all parts. Remove any tape, labels or packaging
material.
2. Wash all parts with warm, soapy water. Rinse and dry thoroughly.
DO NOT PLACE IN THE DISHWASHER.
BREWING COFFEE USING A K-Cup® CAPSULE
Place base on a dry, level and heat-resistant surface and heat water to just below boil-
ing temperature (about 200°F).
DO NOT POUR BOILING WATER INTO RESEVOIR.
MANUFACTURER'S TIPS:
1. The plunger can also be used as a storage compartment for up to 3 K-Cup® cap-
sules.
2. Different brands of capsules will affect the length of time and pressure needed to
brew your coffee.
3. Adjust the flavor of your coffee by applying different pressure and length of time
to complete your coffee.
