#1 Can one basket be used for vegetables for one?

Yes,I have steamed a mix of veg for my wife and myself. No problem

#2 Do the baskets stack in any order?

Yes they can stack in any order you want - there is no specific order required. The lid fits all the baskets so you can use any combination of 1,2 or 3 baskets.

#3 Is this machine all round top to bottom? Not oval at all from top to bottom?

Yes it is & does the job I have had better ones before & much cheaper. Not very good design for bottom main water container, RH can do better.

#4 Are the baskets BPA free?

I cannot answer this as have no idea what a BPA is but mine works fine and highly recommend it

#5 Do the inside/bottoms of each of the tiers detach?

No they are complete containers

#6 How does it stack? I've been trying to find an image of how this item stacks but cannot find one.

To stack to fit in a cupboard, they get wider as they go up so you put them inside eachother.

#7 Is it dishwasher proof?

Sorry, l don't know. Haven't used them yet and having only recently moved, my dishwasher is not yet installed in my kitchen. Sorry l couldn't help.
