Cuisinart SM-35 Questions and Answers

#1 Can I use a different bowl for this mixer ? Like a 4.5 quart or higher?

I purchased for my daughter. You will need to contact the manufacturer

#2 Where can I buy a new whisk? Mine broke.

Look in you book for the mixer and it should tell you where to buy a replacement

#3 How much decibel does is make sounds?

It is not noisy. It is a a kitchen must have, it simplifies life in the kitchen.

#4 Dose this reach the bottom and edges?

This model I haven’t used yet because it is for my holiday home. I do have the slightly larger model and it does not reach bottom. Hoping this one will because I love everything else about this machine.

#5 Is there an adjustment on this mixer for the mixing paddle so that it can be made to reach the ingredients in the bottom of the bowl?

The paddle needs to sit a fraction above the bottom of the bowl as it goes around in circles and there is a slightly raised center in the bottom of the bowl. If you just go ahead and make whatever you are making I think you will find that it will pick up all of your mixture and do a good job. Check to be sure you have the bowl placed correctly. Hope this helps. It’s a great mixer!
