#1 My power was out for about 5 hours and the oven part of my range is not working. There is a message in the display that says ‘bad line’. I cant find what that means and how to fix it. The stove top is working.
We suggest to reset the electronics by turning off power at the circuit breaker for 30 seconds or so. Make sure the range is getting full 240V and not 120V.
If the oven was in use during a power outage or surge, the oven must be reset. Turn the Temperature knob and the Oven Mode Selector to OFF. Reset the controls to begin again.
"Bad Line" displays when power is applied to the unit, but it has not been wired correctly. Contact an installer or electrician to correct the mis-wire and the oven will function normally (new installations).
