Using the accessories supplied

Crevice nozzle
For cleaning in folds, crevices or
corners.
Upholstery nozzle
For cleaning upholstery, mat-
tresses, cushions, curtains, covers
etc.
Dusting brush with natural
bristles, supplied loose
(depending on model)
(only available in selected coun-
tries)
For cleaning skirting boards, or-
nate and carved objects. The head
can be swivelled to adjust the
angle.
The crevice nozzle and the upholstery
nozzle are located in holders at the rear
of the vacuum cleaner.
Certain models are supplied as stand-
ard with a turbobrush which is not illus-
trated. The turbobrush is supplied with
its own set of operating instructions.
Dusting brush integrated in the
Eco Comfort handle (dia. 10)
Some models are equipped with an Eco
Comfort handle.
The dusting brush is suitable for vacu-
uming scratch-resistant surfaces, e.g.
keyboards, or vacuuming up crumbs.
Press the release button on the dust-
ing brush and push it out until it
clearly engages in position.
When you have finished dusting
press the release button and push the
dusting brush back into its original
position until it clicks into place.

For general use and also for vacuuming
the stairs.
For safety reasons when vacu-
uming stairs it is best to start at the
bottom of the stairs and move up-
wards.
Use
Unwind the mains cable (dia. 12)
Pull the mains cable out to the re-
quired length (max. cable length ap-
prox. 6.5 m).
Insert the plug into the socket cor-
rectly and switch on.
If vacuuming for longer than 30
minutes, the mains cable must be
pulled out to its fullest extent. Other-
wise there is a danger of overheating
and damage.
Rewinding the cable (dia. 13)
Switch off at the wall socket and
withdraw the plug.
Step on the cable rewind foot switch.
The cable will then retract itself into the
vacuum cleaner.
