Smeg ECF01BLAU Questions and Answers

#1 I can’t get my smeg to go back to the factory settings. Please can
you help as I want to change previous setting.

To return the machine to its factory settings:
1. Access the settings menu.
2. Turn the steam knob to the (steam symbol) position.
3. Press the (coffee cup) button: the three lights will
flash to indicate that the factory defaults
have been reset.
4. Return the steam knob to the
position.

#2 The machine worked fine yesterday (we love the machine as
well) but today the filter clogged and water does not flow
through. I tried cleaning with a pin but still doesn't work.
Although water does flow through when no coffee in filter. I have
descaled as well, to no avail. Would love help to fix this problem.

Have you changed the type of coffee you are using? The grind may
be too fine and not allowing the water to flow through. If water
flows through the filter with no coffee, then you will need to adjust
the grind.

#3 Why isn’t it letting me make another coffee straight after I make the
first one? It seems to be reheating after each coffee and won’t let
me make one after the other.

Is this occurring when you use the steam wand? It may depend on
how much coffee you're dispensing per cup.
