WARNING: Ensure the
kettle and water has
cooled down before
attempting to clean the
filter and appliance.
WARNING: Do not place
a load on the top of the
glass kettle or knock the
glass on a hard surface
or drop the kettle. The
glass may break. Always
take care cleaning or
filling the kettle.
Mineral Deposits and
Discolouration
Due to the large surface area of
the concealed element (interior
base), discolouration due to mineral
deposits from tap water may appear
more obvious by leaving a brown
stain on the base. THIS IS NOT RUST.
To remove the discolouration, follow
the instructions below ‘Removing
Mineral Deposits’.
Removing Mineral Deposits
Mineral deposits in tap water may
cause the kettle interior to discolour
over time. This may be removed by
using a proprietary kettle descaler
which is available from most leading
supermarkets, department stores and
hardware stores.

be ready for use.
