You don’t need to do anything other than set it running. Perhaps at 40 degrees it takes longer to get warm

I don't believe there is reverse tumble. To avoid knotting or smaller items getting inside duvet covers, I button/zip them up. Occasionally I pause a drying cycle to ensure tangled items are loosened - otherwise it dries bedding very well.

Grey foam at the back is part of dryer. I left it there.
