#2 My apps update app will NOT update any apps. It closes down immediately
There are several reasons as to why your LG Stylo™ 4 | Boost Mobile, Model # Q710AL is not updating apps. If you have checked your network, you will want to check the phone's storage, then clear the cache, and uninstall & re-install updates. Having a stable internet connection is a requirement for Play Store to update apps on your smartphone. If you are facing a problem in updating your apps, wait for your internet to get stable or switch to a better connection. While updating apps, your smartphone fetches new files from the Play Store. If your phone’s storage is full, it will prevent the updated files from downloading. Sometimes, the temporary files in the form of cache hinder the changes in the settings from occurring if the updates demand them. Thus, you should Force Stop the Play Store app and clear the cache data. Go to the All Apps section, search for Google Play Store and tap on it, tap on the Force Stop option, then go to Storage > Clear Cache > Clear Data. On rare occasions, the Play Store update can also prevent the updates of your apps, so you can try uninstalling the updates for the Google Play Store. Go to the All Apps section > Search for Google Play Store and select it. > Tap on the three dots located at the top-right corner > Tap on the Uninstall Updates button> Tap OK. That will reset the Play Store back to the factory version and update it automatically. If the steps above do not work, you might need to remove your Google Account and then add it back to your smartphone. This solves the issues related to your Google account that might be hindering the apps from getting updated.
