Frigidaire FFTA1233U2 Questions and Answers

#1 Why is my Filter Reset light on?

This feature is a reminder to clean the Air Filter (refer to
Care and
Cleaning section of the Use and Care Guide) for more
efficient
operation.
The LED light will illuminate after 250 hours of operation.
After
cleaning the filter, plug the unit back into the power source
and
reset the filter by pressing the ‘Filter Reset’ button and the
light will
go off.

#2 How do I clean my air conditioner's air filter?

For most air conditioners, the filter can be found by opening
the front
panel. Since it’s a reusable filter, you can simply remove
and clean
using warm, soapy water. After cleaning, allow the filter to
dry
thoroughly before replacing it. You may also vacuum the air
filter to
remove excess dirt and particles.

#3 Why is my room air conditioner making noise?

Room Air Conditioners, during operation, may make noise. It is
normal
to hear ‘high pitch chatter’ a sound of rushing air, gurgle/hiss,
pinging
or swishing and vibration. These are all normal.

#4 What does Sleep Mode mean?

When this mode is enabled, the selected temperature will
increase
by 2 °F 30 minutes after the mode is selected.
The temperature will then increase by another 2 °F after an
additional 30 minutes. This new temperature will be
maintained for
7 hours before returning to the originally selected
temperature.
This ends the “Sleep” mode and the unit will continue to
operate as
originally programmed. You may also cancel sleep mode at
any
time by again pressing the sleep button.
