Cleaning and maintenance
- Do not use any oil or grease on the door seals.
- They can cause the seals to deteriorate over time.
- Never use a steam cleaner to clean the appliance.
- The steam can reach the electrical components and cause a short circuit.
- Sharp edged or pointed objects will damage the evaporator, caus- ing irreversible damage to the appliance. Do not use sharp edged or pointed objects to remove frost or ice, separate frozen foods or remove ice trays.
- Never place electric heaters or candles in the appliance to defrost it. These can damage the plastic parts.
- Do not use defrosting sprays or de-icers, as they could contain substances which could damage the plastic parts or which might cause the build-up of gases and pose a danger to health.
