3.1 Initial Setup

1. Remove the scale from the packaging.
2. Open the battery compartment on the underside of the scale.

5. Place the scale on a hard, flat, level surface. Do not place it on carpet or uneven surfaces.

3.2 Taking a Measurement

1. Ensure the scale is on a suitable hard, flat surface.
2. Tap the scale lightly with your foot to activate it. The display will show "0.0" or "CAL" briefly.
3. Wait for the display to show "0.0".
4. Step onto the scale platform and stand still, with your feet evenly distributed.
5. Your weight will appear on the LED display and lock in after a few seconds.
6. Step off the scale. It will turn off automatically after a short period.
